I Tried VoidCheats for 2 Weeks Before Switching to Civ6 Cheats
VoidCheats was popular in my friend group. I gave it fourteen days on the same Deity saves, then moved to Civ6 Cheats. Here is what actually differed.
Week one — setup and first impressions
VoidCheats delivery was fast — key in email within twenty minutes. Loader install took about twenty-five minutes, same as Civ6 Cheats later.
The menu looked clean in screenshots. In game I spent two evenings mapping toggles. Map reveal categories were nested deeper than I liked.
First three nights I ran map reveal and radar only — no combat automation. Enemy and city markers were readable. The tool did its job.
Combat automation and resource toggles
Week one weekend I enabled combat automation with low aggression. It worked for melee and siege on Deity wars. I had to swap configs between wars manually.
Resource markers helped early expansion. VoidCheats did not let me toggle city pins and resource pins separately — the screen felt busy on huge maps.
Civ6 Cheats later let me save separate melee and siege profiles without retuning every session.
The patch that ended my VoidCheats trial
Day eleven hit a Firaxis patch. VoidCheats status said "investigating" with no ETA. I skipped Deity for two days waiting.
Day thirteen a rebuild dropped. Day fourteen a friend said his alt had issues after that rebuild. I switched to Civ6 Cheats for the public Updates page.
Not saying VoidCheats is a scam — plenty still use it. It did not match my need for clear patch notes.
What improved after switching
Civ6 Cheats let me toggle rival cities, barbarian camps, and resources independently. Radar range slider fixed my small-widget complaint from VoidCheats.
Per-class combat profiles meant I stopped retuning between wars. Support replied faster when I asked about Deity presets.
Price and value
VoidCheats cost me $39 for two weeks. Civ6 Cheats monthly is $35; lifetime $150. Weekly pricing adds up if you hop tools often.

Would I recommend VoidCheats?
Yes, with caveats. If friends already share VoidCheats configs and you play casually, staying is fine.
If you are patch-sensitive or want granular map toggles and combat profiles, Civ6 Cheats fit me better.
